The Marconi Automotive Museum has announced the passing of its founder, Dick Marconi.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our founder, Dick Marconi, at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and generosity,” a statement from the museum read. “We grieve the loss of not only an incredible man but a son, a brother, a father, a husband, a grandfather and great grandfather. His family remembers him for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love. Dick Marconi’s life exemplified the power of giving and the profound impact one person can have on others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.”

Located in Tustin, Calif., the Marconi Automotive Museum is home to more than 100 historic race cars, muscle cars, motorcycles and many other significant vehicles with a total value of more than $60 million.
