The SEC is home to seven of the Top 10 teams in the country in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll released Monday.
Arkansas went up a spot to No. 5 after a 3-1 week which included a series takedown of Alabama. The Razorbacks are tied with LSU, ranked No. 1 in the country, atop the SEC West. Both teams sit at 6-3 over three weekends, though the Tigers own the tie-breaker by virtue of winning the series earlier in the season.
Over in the SEC East, Florida and Vanderbilt found themselves ranked No. 3 and No. 4, while South Carolina was 8th, Tennessee 9th and Kentucky 10th.
Arkansas’ opponent in the fourth weekend, Ole Miss, fell out of the poll after the Rebels lost their series against Texas A&M. No other SEC teams are ranked.
The Diamond Hogs have been ranked in the Top 10 in 38 of the last 39 polls and ranked overall for the last 83.
