Due to storms ravaging the southeast, Arkansas and Ole Miss Thursday series opener was postponed, forcing a Friday doubleheader.
The decision to postpone the series opener at Swayze Field was made before the game’s first pitch.
The Diamond Hogs’ last doubleheader was against LSU two weeks ago, when they loss back-to-back games to LSU during the Saturday doubleheader. Ole Miss played their doubleheader that same Saturday against Florida, which resulted in a weekend sweep for the Gators.
The first game of the doubleheader will be at 2 pm, with game two of the series starting at 6 pm. The series finale will remain on Saturday at 2 pm on SEC Network.
