Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell is most likely out of the Falcons’ price range as free agency is set to begin.
That doesn’t mean the former fourth-round pick from Thomas Dimitroff’s stellar 2016 draft class — which includes safety Keanu Neal and tight end Austin Hooper — isn’t grateful for his time in Atlanta.
Campbell took to Twitter to talk about the versatility in his game, eventually giving “love and respect” to the team’s coaching staff for helping him showcase his wide range of abilities as a defender:
I’ve literally played every single position on defense over my 4 year career. I even played a whole game a SS last year I can play any position in any scheme not many people can say that. I got so much love and respect for the coaching staff at the Falcons showing my versatility

Campbell may be headed elsewhere as the team will let him test free agency. Over the past four seasons in Atlanta, though, he vastly outplayed his draft position and will be one of the top linebackers on the market.
