Devin Bush wins Joe Greene Award as Steelers top rookie

Devin Bush has had a tremendous rookie season.

Every season, members of the Pittsburgh media vote on the top rookie for the Steelers and this season they have given the award to linebacker Devin Bush. This is voted on by the Pittsburgh chapter of the PFWA.

Bush is currently second on the team in total tackles with 97 and also has one sack, one forced fumble and two interceptions. NFL.com has Bush with 14 sacks but he is part of a three-man rotation with Vince Williams and Mark Barron.

Bush saw a mid-season dip in his reps which took him out of the conversation for defensive rookie of the year and his number of big plays have come to a screeching halt.

Pittsburgh had several rookies in consideration including wide receiver Diontae Johnson. Johnson currently leads the team in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.
