Devin Booker fist bumping a baby is one of the most adorable moments in playoff history

It’s only the first round, but Suns star Devin Booker already gave us one of the most memorable moments of the playoffs.

It’s only the first round, but Suns star Devin Booker already gave us one of the most memorable moments of the playoffs.

Early in the game, Booker made a 2-pointer and actually ended up sliding to the floor. While he was down there, the All-Star found himself in the first row of the Footprint Center.

It didn’t take long for him to notice an especially young fan, decked out in a black Supreme t-shirt and a brand of confidence that I’ll never know, ready to extend his warmest congratulations.

I’m not sure if the baby also transferred superpowers to Booker, who ended the first half (!) with 31 points and seven 3-pointers. If that is the case, by the way, we might need more babies sitting courtside.

Just take a closer look at this photo and tell me you’re not inspired to have a better day:

Unfortunately, however, Booker later got injured and would not return to the game. Phoenix ended up losing to New Orleans, who tied the series with one win each.

But for me, especially considering the Suns are clearly the better team, the results of this one were never going to matter. Instead, this game is forever known as The Fist Bump Game.

After the game, the baby gave his first-ever post-game NBA interview.

The baby was admittedly a lot more interested in just playing around with the microphone, which I totally get, but his father had this to say:

“I saw an opportunity to see if he could get some knucks and it was cool ’cause Booker sat there, like, thought about it, and he was like, yeah, I’ll give him knucks … I was like, hopefully, somebody got a snippet of that.”

Well, I’ll tell you this much. The world is a better place because the cameras were there to capture this adorable moment.

I’m not sure about the competition, but that was definitely one of the cutest things we’ve ever seen in the postseason. Meanwhile, the baby will have an awesome story to tell when he’s old enough to share it with his friends.
