While Notre Dame football has will have its second home game of the year on Saturday, its 2025 quarterback commit [autotag]Deuce Knight[/autotag] won’t be in attendance.
The 6-foot, 5-inch and 206-pound left-handed star will once again be visiting Auburn this weekend according to a report by On3’s Jeffrey Lee. It is the third time this season that he will visit the Tigers, once again raising concerns about how seriously committed he is to Notre Dame.
Many, including myself, believed that the nation’s No. 29 ranked player according to the 247Sports Composite would have changed his mind by now. While that hasn’t been the case, it could be in the future, especially considering how many times Knight has opted not to make a return trip to South Bend.
For the Irish to avoid seeing their only class of 2025 quarterback commit stay in committed, they need to get him back on campus as soon as possible.

Knight could see his hosts for this weekend struggle, like they did in their loss to Cal in Week 2, which would surely help Notre Dame’s cause.
