Details on Tennessee holding a press conference following Jeremy Pruitt’s firing

Third-year Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt has been relieved of his duties.

The University of Tennessee will hold a press conference Monday.

UT’s press conference comes after it has parted ways with third-year Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt.

Pruitt was 16-19 (10-16 SEC) in three seasons at Tennessee. He won the 2020 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl against Indiana.

Tennessee finished the 2019 season with six consecutive victories and won the first two contests of a 10-game SEC-only campaign in 2020.

The Vols finished 3-7 during the 2020 SEC-only season.
