Was the amount of money swing tackle Ty Sambrailo going to make with the Tennessee Titans in 2020 keeping you up at night?
Well, you’ve come to the right place to get the answer you’ve been seeking.
According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, Sambrailo’s contract details are as follows:
Not sure this has been out: @TSambrailo contract is one-year, $350k SB, $1M base, $15,625 per game active roster bonus up to $350K. #Titans

Per Spotrac, Sambrailo’s cap hit amounts to a little over $1.5 million next season, so nothing crazy here. Sambrailo is going to be a backup offensive lineman at most for the Titans, and he’s being paid as such.
Sambrailo’s versatility is very valuable for what the Titans need. Not only has he played both tackle spots during his career, but he also has experience playing guard.
Not to mention, his athleticism, which was on full display during this 35-yard touchdown reception in 2019, is a great fit for the Titans’ zone-blocking scheme.

It was important for Tennessee to find a versatile lineman like Sambrailo after the team’s former swing tackle, Dennis Kelly, was called into starting duty once Jack Conklin left for the Cleveland Browns.
In a separate article, we gave the Titans an “A” for the move, as Sambrailo is just a perfect fit for multiple reasons. Hopefully we get to see him score another epic big-man touchdown in 2020, also.
