Washington S Deshazor Everett suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's loss at Detroit, per sources. No recovery timeline has been determined.
Everett helped solidify the secondary with his hard-hitting style. Washington already lost starting SS Landon Collins for the season.

Washington safety Deshazor Everett left the game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon, and it’s now being reported that he is dealing with a high-ankle sprain that could sideline him for some time going forward.
In his place, S Troy Apke came in for Everett on Sunday. Apke had the starting safety job at the start of the year, but was later benched due to poor play.
This is a tough loss for Washington, who is already without Pro Bowl safety Landon Collins, who suffered a season-ending Achilles injury several weeks back. Now they will have to rely on Apke and rookie Kamren Curl, who has been very good in place of Collins.
