The players have begun reporting to Berea as the Cleveland Browns start training camp as the off-season ends. Quarterback Deshaun Watson reported with the rookies and other quarterbacks on Monday and shared a look at the new weight room at the Browns facility.
The Browns didn’t get the greatest grades from the NFLPA’s report card last year in terms of their facility, and it seems like they may have taken that to heart during this off-season. Plenty of negative things can be said about the Haslams but you know they are willing to dish out the cash.
Watson showed what appeared to be a brand-new weight room with great-looking equipment that likely cost a lot of money. Cleveland is trying to build a consistent winner and change the overall culture, and they are well on the way to accomplishing that. Ensuring they have the best equipment is an excellent way to do that.
