Earlier this week, the Big Ten Network had a sit-down chat with head coach DeShaun Foster. Foster is preparing for his first season as the head coach of the Bruins, as they head into their first season in the Big Ten.
The 44-year-old, who played at UCLA from 1998-2001, and then later spent several seasons in the National Football League is excited to be leading his team to battle when they take on Hawaii on August 31st. Foster takes over for Chip Kelly, who left following the 2023 season to be an assistant at Ohio State.
Foster had this to say about the 2024 team:
“We are going to be a hard fighting team. Not saying we weren’t before. But, just, going to get out there and. My three pillars are discipline, respect and enthusiasm, so those are three things you will see in my team no matter what.”

The Bruins first home game is slated for September Saturday 14th against Indiana.
