DeShaun Foster ranked at bottom of Power Four coach list

The only way to go from here is up.

The new direction of the UCLA Bruins football program is encouraging, even with expectations a bit lowered entering the 2024 season.

DeShaun Foster and his coaching staff have been active in the portal and recruiting front, which makes the future of this program look bright after an ugly ending with Chip Kelly.

Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports ranked all of the Power Four coaches, and DeShaun Foster fell into the last spot at No. 68.

Somebody has to be ranked last, and as is usually the case, it’s a newcomer who has yet to coach a game. Foster is in a unique spot. He was the choice to replace Chip Kelly at UCLA, and not only is he stepping into the head coaching spot for the first time (he’s been an assistant and former player in Westwood for years), but he has to do so as UCLA makes the move to the Big Ten.

The only way to go from here is up, so things could change in the next few months for Foster.
