UCLA Football head coach DeShaun Foster met with 247Sports to discuss the landscape of putting a roster together in College Football. With the transfer portal here, it certainly is a landscape that all coaches are trying to figure out.
Foster was hired as the head coach of the UCLA Bruins on February 12th. He was previously the running backs coach. The 44-year-old from Charlotte played at UCLA, before heading to the National Football League where he played for the Panthers and 49ers. at UCLA, he set a team rushing record for true freshmen with 673 yards and 10 touchdowns.

The Bruins will play their first game under their new head coach on August 31st in Hawaii. The first Big Ten game in school history will come on September 14th, against Indiana. The Bruins then take on LSU on September 21st and will host Oregon on September 28th.
