DeShaun Foster is a lot of things. A former college and NFL running back and current collegiate head coach. Last week, the Bruins head coach showed off another talent: Kickball.
In a video posted by Foster on X, Foster sends a kickball over the fence in a pickup game. But this is not all that surprising.
Foster was drafted in the second round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. Putting up north of 800 yards on the ground as a Panther in his career, Foster had the power and ability to play as an elite athlete in the NFL.

What is surprising, however, is the marked change that the first-year head coach has had on the UCLA community. Since his hiring, Foster has changed the Bruins community greatly.
From attending other sporting events to making his presence known on social media, it is truly a new day in Westwood, and Foster has helped to improve the program’s notoriety and “it-factor.”
