Derrick Henry becomes 8th RB in NFL history to reach 2,000 yards

Titans running back Derrick Henry has placed himself in a special group in NFL history, as he officially crossed the 2,000-yard mark during the fourth quarter of the Week 17 contest against the Texans.
With his 2,000-yard season, Henry is now the eighth player in league history to hit that total, with the last being Adrian Peterson of the Vikings, who rushed for 2,097 yards back in 2012.
The Titans are the first franchise in NFL history to have two 2,000-yard rushers, as Chris Johnson also reached that mark back in 2009.
With his latest 200-yard game against the Texans, Henry becomes the first player in NFL history to rush for that many yards or more in three straight games against the same opponent.
Henry will finish the 2020 campaign with his second straight rushing title. He is the first player since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006-07 to accomplish that feat in back-to-back seasons
