With the Lakers win in Game 3 of their current second round series against the Houston Rockets, LeBron James rose to the top of yet another NBA All-Time playoff list. With the win, James passed Lakers legend, Derek Fisher, as the league’s all-time leader in playoff wins. James will likely add to that record several more times before the Lakers playoff run is over. But the milestone gave reporters an opportunity to ask Fisher, the current coach of the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, about being leapfrogged.

Fisher, to his credit, made sure to point out how fortunate he was to play with greats like Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, while also making sure to note that he is not in the same category as LeBron, even if they are neighbors on this list, according to SB Nation’s Sabreena Merchant.

LeBron has indeed carried a lot of guys to get to the top of the NBA’s All-Time Playoff Wins list. But as James himself noted after reaching the milestone, he also credited everyone else alongside him, both on and off the court, in all three of the franchises he’s played in, for helping him get there.
