The Denver Nuggets (21-11) will take on the Sacramento Kings (17-14) on Tuesday at Golden 1 Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (NBATV). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Nuggets vs. Kings odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.
The Nuggets defeated the Phoenix Suns 128-125 in overtime on Christmas despite failing to cover as 4-point favorites at home. Denver has strung together 4 straight wins and has won 7 of its last 8 games.
The Kings lost 125-111 to the Washington Wizards as they failed to cover as 7.5-point favorites at home. Sacramento is playing its 4th straight home game and has gone 1-2 in its previous 3 home contests.

Moneyline
While the Nuggets should secure a win on the road, PASS on the moneyline in this game. I’d be comfortable taking Denver to win at -140 or better odds, but you can take the Nuggets to come away with a victory in parlays at the current odds.
Against the spread
NUGGETS -3.5 (-108) is an easy choice for me in this game considering how these teams have been playing recently. Also, Sabonis is questionable to play and even if he does play, he’ll be tasked with trying to defend C Nikola Jokic with an injured hand.
Despite all of the trends pointing toward the Kings covering the spread, the Nuggets have won 4 straight meetings and they won by at least 4 points in each of those wins.
Over/Under
Even if Sabonis is ruled out, OVER 238.5 (-110) is an enticing wager with both teams being top 7 in offensive rating. If you aren’t comfortable taking the Over at the current total, you can wait to see if it comes down due to Sabonis’ status.
The Kings have gone Over in 5 of their last 6 home games against a team with a winning road record and are 9-2-1 to the Over in their last 12 home games. The Nuggets and the Kings have also hit the Over in 6 of their last 8 meetings.
