Denver Broncos depth chart prediction: Running back

Who will serve as the Broncos’ third-string running back this season?

RB3: Royce Freeman

If the Broncos don’t trade Freeman, he will be an excellent choice to serve as a third-string running back this season. Freeman will provide valuable depth behind the team’s two Pro Bowlers.

RB4: Khalfani Muhammad (practice squad)

Muhammad has one year of practice squad eligibility remaining and his experience in the NFL might help him edge out LeVante Bellamy.

RB5: LeVante Bellamy

Bellamy signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent in April and he’ll have a shot to make the team’s practice squad. Or, if the team moves on from Freeman, Bellamy might even have a chance to make the active roster.

RB6: Jeremy Cox

Cox will be an underdog in a crowded backfield this summer.
