The NASCAR Cup Series arrived at Dover Motor Speedway, and the racing was as intense as usual. Martin Truex Jr. won Stage 1 and had a dominant car, but damage on a restart hurt his No. 19 entry. Then, Kyle Larson won Stage 2 and had a good car but couldn’t get to first place. At the end of the day, it was a familiar face in victory lane.
[autotag]Denny Hamlin[/autotag] won the Würth 400 at Dover for his third victory of the 2024 NASCAR season. Hamlin had a good jump on the final restart and was able to pull away. Then, Larson made a late charge and tried to get to his outside but could never get a strong enough run. Hamlin now ties William Byron for the most Cup Series victories in 2024.
