Dennis Schroder has passed coronavirus protocol, is out of quarantine, and is active for the Oklahoma City Thunder game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, head coach Billy Donovan said before the game.
Schroder had missed all of the bubble games except the first. He departed the area Aug. 3 to go back home to family, where his wife was giving birth to their second child.
The Thunder have missed him over the six missed games, going 3-3 without him.
Schroder will use this final regular season game to find his rhythm get back chemistry with the team after being away for almost two weeks.
He will be key against the Clippers. There are two openings in the Thunder’s starting lineup as both Chris Paul and Lu Dort will be out.
Over the season, Schroder averaged 18.9 points on career-high field goal and 3-point shooting percentages. He also averaged 4.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game.
Schroder is one of the three finalists for the Sixth Man of the Year Award, along with Clippers big Montrezl Harrell and guard Lou Williams.
