DeMarcus Ware part of 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame class

Broncos Super Bowl 50 champion DeMarcus Ware is now a member of the Hall of Fame!

DeMarcus Ware has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the 2023 class, the league announced during NFL Honors on Thursday evening.

Ware spent the first nine years of his career with the Dallas Cowboys, totaling a franchise-record 117 sacks from 2005-2013. He then signed with the Denver Broncos in 2014 in a move that solidified his Hall of Fame resume.

One year later, Ware won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos, a championship that was dominated by Denver’s defense. Ware recorded four quarterback hits and two sacks in a 24-10 win over the Carolina Panthers to earn a Super Bowl ring.

Ware played the final three seasons of his career with the Broncos before hanging up his cleats with 138.5 sacks to his name, which ranks ninth on the NFL’s all-time list. A seven-time All-Pro and nine-time Pro Bowler, Ware will be enshrined in Canton, Ohio this summer.

Denver now has 11 representatives in the Hall of Fame.
