Washington Redskins
The Redskins had their own issues at the tight end position in 2019, as Jordan Reed wasn’t able to suit up at all after suffering a concussion during the preseason.
Now that Reed has been cut and is a free agent, the Redskins need to find a solution to help their young quarterback, Dwayne Haskins. This kind of situation is familiar to Walker, as he was vital in the development of Marcus Mariota when he entered the league.
Granted, Mariota didn’t pan out for the Titans, but that was not the fault of Walker, who did all he could to help Mariota succeed and grow with little else around him on offense.
While Walker likely won’t have the same motor as he did in the past, he’d still be a big upgrade for Haskins to throw to at tight end compared to what he has now.
