Deion Sanders told Colorado players to get ready ‘to jump in the portal’ and fans had mixed feelings

Is this a good speech he delivered or not?

Deion Sanders has always been outspoken and has done things his way throughout his playing career, his time as a broadcaster and as a college football coach.

That’s no different now that he’s the head coach at Colorado, after he bolted from Jackson State and joined a program that went 1-11 (!) this season.

And the speech he delivered to the current team was something else.

Sanders went off in his Coach Prime manner and gave the players quite a talking-to, including these lines: “We got a few positions already taken care of, because I’m bringing my luggage with me, and it’s Louis. … I’m coming, and when I get here. It’s gonna be change. I want y’all to get ready to go ahead and jump in the [transfer] portal.”

Fans had a mixed reaction all of that:
