Deion Sanders on ‘College GameDay’ coming to Colorado: ‘It’s what we expected’

Coach Prime gave his early thoughts on landing “College GameDay” for Week 3

The Colorado Buffaloes are 2-0 after wins over TCU and Nebraska. Shedeur Sanders is a Heisman Trophy contender, Travis Hunter is an unreal two-way player and head coach Deion Sanders is in the running for Coach of the Year, although it’s still very early.

Week 3 has the Buffs facing the Colorado State Rams, and ESPN’s “College GameDay” is making its way to Boulder to soak in all of the excitement.

For Coach Prime, this isn’t surprising. Moreover, he expected his team to get this type of attention.

“It’s what we expected,” Sanders said during his postgame press conference on Saturday after learning that “College GameDay” would be coming to Boulder next week. “I know it sounds boastful, we truly expect that. These kids want the biggest stage.”

The early betting lines have the Buffs favored by about three touchdowns against the Rams, and this game should be another chance for Shedeur Sanders and his offense to put up some eye-popping numbers.

After that, it’s on to Oregon, but Buffs fans should first soak in the “College GameDay” experience, especially after how last season went.
