Death Stranding Director’s Cut for PC is allegedly on the way

Kojima’s true vision with mods.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut, initially a  PS5 exclusive, is probably coming to PC soon.

Videocardz  allegedly got its hands on an early press release for a PC version of Death Stranding Director’s Cut. It sounds like the port was to be announced at CES 2022 alongside Intel’s new Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) AI-driven graphics technology showcase and even includes an alleged quote from 505 Games president Neil Rally.

“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Intel for the Death Stranding Director’s Cut edition on PC,” Rally said. “Death Stranding has been a hugely popular game with PC players and we’re excited to see how Intel’s new XeSS technology will enhance player experience for Director’s Cut.”

505 Games published the PC port of the original iteration of Death Stranding, so it makes sense that Rally would have a quote ready for the Director’s Cut.

As with every rumor, take this with a pinch of salt until either 505 Games, Intel, or Kojima Productions  comes out confirming it. It’s pretty likely, though. Several high-profile Playstation exclusives are slowly making their way onto PC as of late, including  God of War  and the  Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Fingers crossed that the same happens with Bloodborne eventually.
