DeAndre Hopkins sits out Sunday practice with minor hamstring injury

Kliff Kingsbury said his absence from practice was mainly precautionary.

The Arizona Cardinals did not have full participation in their Sunday practice. During the portion open to media members, receiver DeAndre Hopkins was not suited up or participating in drills. He was on the side doing some running.

After practice, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said Hopkins has a minor hamstring injury.

Cardinals fans do not have any reason to be concerned. He said it was simply hamstring tightness and that it was mainly precautionary.

The Cardinals will put pads on for the first time on Monday. We will see if he misses any more time. The Cardinals play their season opener in four weeks.
