Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins appeeared on the “I am Athlete” podcast with former NFL receiver Brandon Marshall and Ashley Nicole Moss.
Among the many things they discussed, Hopkins was asked what quarterbacks he would like to have as teammates on another team if given the choice.
He named five:
- Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills
- Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles
- Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs
- Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens
- Justin Herbert of the Los Angeles Chargers
Kyler Murray is notably absent but with good reason. One, Murray won’t be on his next team. Also, Murray is off the board because he is returning from an injury.
Hopkins could not be traded to a team with Murray. He would have no reason to mention him in that context.
All are great quarterbacks.
