Every summer during the first full week of June, Jimbo Fisher and his staff hold the annual Jimbo Fisher Football Camp, featuring an abundance of recruits for future recruiting classes, this year spotlighting some of the top recruits in the 2023, 2024, and the 2025 classes. This camp isn’t just an opportunity for the coaching staff to closely evaluate players in the area, but also a chance for players to show their skill set against other top-ranked recruits with who they haven’t had a chance to face each other on the gridiron.
Throughout day 1 of the camp, Ryan Brauninger, an analyst for TexAgs, kept track of a number of attendees during their various reps on offense and defense, giving an in-depth view of what these kids bring to the table, especially from a fundamentals standpoint. The position groups ranged from linebacker, wide receiver, safety, and a heavy emphasis on offensive lineman, a position that needs to be focused on every recruiting cycle due to its high turnover rate.
As the 2022 season is getting closer and closer, an examination of the current roster is on a lot of readers’ minds, and trust me, we have you covered in that department. So with that, check out the highlights from today’s camp and enjoy what the future has in store for Aggies Football!
