The Los Angeles Rams actually have good news pertaining to the offensive line ahead of their matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. After missing Week 4 with a concussion, David Edwards returned to practice on Thursday for the Rams.
Rams LG David Edwards was a full participant in practice today after missing last week’s game with a concussion, so that’s encouraging for LA’s beleaguered O-line. S Taylor Rapp (ribs) and CB David along (groin) were limited.

Edwards self-reported concussion-like symptoms to the Rams last Saturday before Los Angeles was set to face the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The starting left guard for the Rams was immediately placed in the league’s concussion protocol and was ruled out for the showdown with the 49ers.
While Edwards remains in concussion protocol, he’s making good progress as a full participant in practice on Thursday. The Wisconsin product will need to clear the concussion protocol if he’s going to play versus the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
The Rams could undoubtedly benefit from Edwards returning this week amid all of the offensive line injuries Sean McVay’s squad has endured to begin the season. We’ll have a better understanding of Edwards’ status for Sunday’s matchup if he’s able to practice in full again on Friday.
