After a fairly quiet 2019 season split between the Jaguars and Rams, Jalen Ramsey firmly entrenched himself as one of the three best cornerbacks in the NFL this season. He earned a Pro Bowl nod, was a first-team All-Pro, and was at the center of shutting down receivers such as DeAndre Hopkins, DK Metcalf and Allen Robinson.
Next up for Ramsey is Davante Adams, who was named a first-team All-Pro himself this year. It’s a marquee matchup between two of the game’s best, and they share a ton of mutual respect for each other.
Adams told reporters on Tuesday that he considers Ramsey to be one of the few “super elite” cornerbacks in the NFL.
#Packers WR Davante Adams says there are 3-4 "super elite" cornerbacks in the NFL, and Jalen Ramsey is one of them.

The Rams won’t reveal their plan for Ramsey prior to kickoff on Saturday, but based on the way he’s been used against other premier wide receivers, it’s fully expected that he’ll shadow Adams.
Taking away a guy who led the league in yards per game and touchdown receptions will be one of the team’s top priorities, and there’s no better way to do that than with Ramsey in coverage.
