Date and time set for Packers vs. 49ers in NFC Divisional Round

The Green Bay Packers will face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round at 7:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 20.

The Green Bay Packers upset the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at AT&T Stadium and will advance on to play the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round.

When will the Packers take on top-seeded 49ers?

From the NFL: the Packers will face the 49ers at 7:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 20. FOX will televise the contest.

The other NFC matchup will be the Detroit Lions hosting either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Jan. 21 at 2:00 p.m. CT.

The Packers and 49ers are scheduled to meet for the 10th time in the postseason, an NFL record. The 49ers hold a 5-4 all-time advantage and have won four straight games.

The No. 1 seeded 49ers finished 12-5 and won the NFC West. The Packers became the first No. 7 seed to win in the new playoff format, so Saturday’s showdown will be the first matchup of No. 1 and No. 7 teams in NFL history.

The 49ers knocked the Packers out of the playoffs during the 2012, 2013, 2019 and 2021 seasons. The Packers won the first three meetings in the postseason in 1995, 1996 and 1997.
