There is a lot of reason for optimism and a lot of hope for the Philadelphia 76ers after the team had a pretty busy offseason. Ever since being swept in Round 1 of the playoffs back in August, the team has been making sweeping changes up and down the organization.
There are two constants on the team right now and that is the fact that they are still led by stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. For good reason, too, as both players are two of the more talented the league has to offer.
Team president Daryl Morey has a lot of expectations for the two of them as he is thinking that the two of them can win an MVP award. He did an AMA session on Instagram where he took some fan questions and he believes in both of his young stars.

Of course, in order to win those individual awards, the team has to win. The MVP award, generally, goes to the best player on the best team in the league. If the Sixers can bounce back and have a big season, then Embiid and Simmons will certainly garner some attention in that race. [lawrence-related id=40144,40141,40138]
