Darrell Henderson not impressed by his ‘Madden’ rating after hot start

Darrell Henderson’s “Madden” rating has only gone up two points since the season began.

Darrell Henderson had the two best games of his career against the Eagles and Bills the last two weeks, topping 100 yards from scrimmage with one touchdown in each contest. He’s become a quality replacement for the injured Cam Akers, grabbing hold of the starting job at running back in his absence.

Despite his hot start to the season, and grading out as the No. 1 running back in the NFL by Pro Football Focus, Henderson’s rating in “Madden NFL 21” is still underwhelming. His rating was adjusted this past week, but not enough to please the Rams running back.

He shared this tweet reacting to his 73 overall rating, which is only up one from where he was a week ago.

For comparison, Cam Akers is a 74 overall, while Malcolm Brown is 76 overall. Henderson has outperformed both thus far, and if he continues to do so, his overall rating should keep increasing by the week.

Other Rams players who have had their ratings change through three weeks are Jared Goff (76 to 78), Samson Ebukam (80 to 77) and David Edwards (64 to 67). Henderson’s overall rating has actually increased by two points since the start of the season, one in each of the last two weeks.
