LSU forward Darius Days on Tuesday announced that he will return to school for his senior season after recently going through the NBA pre-draft process.
Days announced on April 9 that he would test the NBA waters, but would not sign with an agent to preserve his college eligibility. He participated in the NBA G League Elite Camp last week, averaging 9.5 points and 4.5 rebounds during the scrimmage portion of the event.
In addition to the scrimmages, Days also had a strong showing in the strength and agility testing. He recorded the fastest lane shuttle time, clocking in at 2.716 seconds and measured in at 6-foot-5 in shoes with a 7-foot wingspan.

Days averaged 11.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 28 games last season with the Tigers. He led the Tigers in rebounding and finished third in the SEC in rebounding average and third in defensive rebound average (5.3).
By returning to school, Days likely felt as though one last season with LSU will help improve his draft stock. After speaking with NBA teams, Days also has a better idea of what areas to improve in his game in order to be better prepared next year.
