With Tom Coughlin leading the front office, there were a lot of players who left the Jacksonville Jaguars on bad terms, including former defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. Last week, it was revealed that the organization had fined him upwards of $700k for rehabbing away from the facility, but thanks to the NFLPA, he was able to recover that money through a grievance case.

In a tweet posted last week, Fowler claimed the Jags hated him when with the team. He also thanked the NFLPA in the process.

However, it seems as though he didn’t get everything off his chest.

Monday afternoon, Fowler seemingly had a lot of time on his hands and decided to go back and forth with fans claiming the Jags didn’t give him the play time he deserved in 2017 when he accumulated 10 sacks in the regular and postseason.

In a deleted tweet, he also claimed that the team’s past two head coaches in Gus Bradley and Doug Marrone and defensive coordinator Todd Wash benched and tried to “bury” him and gave him limited snaps due to his off the field issues.

Fowler’s rant comes as the young linebacker has garnered a career-high of 11.5 sacks in 2019 with the Rams. Per Pro Football Focus, he also has a grade of 73.0 on the year, which indicates he may have finally found his footing as a player.

As most are aware, the Jags traded Fowler last October during the trade deadline for a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick. After his acquisition, the Rams went on to go to the post-season after the 2018 regular season where they were defeated by the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

After the season, he signed a one-year deal worth $14 million, but with the Rams strapped for cap space, it’s unlikely he will be returning in 2020.
