Amid yet another loss on the second game of a back-to-back, fans of the Boston Celtics began looking for directions to point a finger of blame.
Dropping Wednesday night’s contest to the Atlanta Hawks was simply further fuel to that particular low-burning fire, which team president Danny Ainge addressed in his most latest appearance on the popular New England sport radio show “Toucher and Rich” Thursday morning. The Celtics president has taken responsibility for some of the problems created by the offseason job of team-building he has assembled, but with the rollercoaster of a season in terms of wins and losses continuing that may not convince all parties.
Some analysts have gone so far as to suggest head coach Brad Stevens may be part of the problem, such as the Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn.
