The Giants seem unlikely to have Kenny Golladay and Saquon Barkley on Sunday afternoon against the Rams, but Daniel Jones still has a chance to play. Jones suffered a concussion in New York’s loss to the Cowboys and is currently in the protocol.
He’s making progress and could be cleared before the Giants host the Rams this weekend. Coach Joe Jduge said Jones is “on track with everything” in the concussion protocol and if everything goes according to plan, he could be cleared to play against Los Angeles.
As one would expect, the Giants would start him in the game even if he doesn’t practice at all this week.
Daniel Jones “on track with everything,” per Joe Judge. In concussion protocol. Won’t practice or be on field Wednesday. But if everything progresses this week it’s possible he’s cleared by Sunday for the Rams game. #giants #rams

Joe Judge wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Daniel Jones not practicing and still playing in the game.

The Rams and Giants will release their first injury reports of the week on Wednesday, but we likely won’t know until Friday whether Golladay, Barkley and Jones will play against the Rams. Golladay and Barkley were held out of practice Wednesday, so their availability is very much in doubt for this weekend.
