Dana White’s Contender Series 65 weigh-in results: Massive miss leads to one fight canceled

LAS VEGAS – MMA Junkie was on scene for Monday’s official Dana White’s Contender Series 65 fighter weigh-ins.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Las Vegas. The UFC Apex hosts Tuesday’s card, which streams on ESPN+.

Ten fighters were scheduled to vie for UFC contracts, but that number is down to eight after a massive miss by Lucas Rocha, who was five pounds over the flyweight limit. As a result, he bout with Davi Bittencourt was canceled.

DWCS 65 will proceed with four bouts, including light heavyweights Rodolfo Bellato (10-2) and Murtaza Talha (6-0) in the headliner.

*Rocha was 5 pounds over the flyweight limit; the fight was canceled.
