New England Patriots running back Damien Harris (ribs) was back at practice on Thursday ahead of the team’s matchup with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6 on Sunday. Offensive linemen Shaq Mason (abdomen) and Michael Onwenu (COVID-19/reserve) also made their return.
There was some bad news for the Patriots. Tackle Justin Herron (back), who played on the blindside in Week 5, was downgraded and did not participate on Thursday. He and cornerback Shaun Wade (concussion) did not practice.
New England had 10 players listed as limited: Harris, Mason, linebackers Ja’Whaun Bentley (shoulder), Ronnie Perkins (ankle) and Kyle Van Noy (groin), safeties Cody Davis (knee) and Kyle Dugger (hamstring), kicker Nick Folk (left knee), and cornerbacks Jonathan Jones (ankle) and Jalen Mills (hamstring).
Justin Herron (back) was downgraded. Damien Harris (ribs) and Shaq Mason (abdomen) were upgraded.
Herron, FWIW, was the team's best tackle last week.
