Damian Lillard had a number of big moments in the NBA playoffs last season and now he’s fighting like hell to get Portland back in the postseason this year.
He kept Portland’s hopes very much alive Tuesday night in Orlando as he dropped 61 points on the Dallas Mavericks and led the Trail Blazers to a huge 134-131 win that moved them into the eighth spot in the West with one game left to play.
Lillard’s final bucket of the game was a 33-foot 3-pointer that bounced high off the rim before falling through the hoop to make it a 130-130 game with just over a 90 seconds to go. He is now just the second player in NBA history to have three 60-point games in a season.
Then when the final whistle blew, Lillard appeared to send a pretty perfect message to anyone watching:

Now that is great.
Here’s that 3-pointer:

And his interview right after the game was pretty awesome, too:
"Ain't nothing I want more."

Here’s hoping the Dame and the Blazers punch their ticket to the playoffs because he is too much fun.
