Philadelphia 7e6rs star Ben Simmons has achieved a lot in only three seasons in the NBA. He has garnered an abundance of triple-doubles, he has a Rookie of the Year award, he has been named to two All-Star games, and he will most likely be named to an All-Defensive Team this season.
However, the biggest criticism that people want to bring up with Simmons is his lack of a jump shot.
Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard took some questions on his Twitter account on Thursday night and somebody asked him about the people who hate on Simmons. Lillard basically shrugged his shoulders and said that people are just going to hate and criticize no matter what.
“People” will always hate. That’s just the way it is https://t.co/pkcSqqtUfM

Simmons affects the game in so many ways, yet people want to always harp on the lack of a jump shot. He did show off some progress in that area this season as he finally knocked down the first two 3-pointers of his career and the jumper will come on his own terms. The hate and criticism he receives is a bit much. [lawrence-related id=37410,37404,37401]
