Count Dalvin Cook as the second Minnesota Viking to land in the Madden NFL 23 top-10 rankings for the highest-rated player at his position.
The three-time Pro Bowler was recently voted as the No. 4 running back in the NFL by league executives, scouts, coaches and other players. However, Madden NFL 23 has him one rank lower at No. 5 with a 94 overall rating.
It was revealed All-Pro wideout Justin Jefferson came in at No. 6 in the top-10 receivers ratings on Monday.
Cook finished the 2021 season with 249 carries for 1,159 rushing yards and six touchdowns, despite only playing in 13 games.
There’s a possibility of his production increasing with Kevin O’Connell stepping in as the Vikings’ new head coach. Even if the offense is more pass-heavy, Cook is likely to work in as a receiver in hopes of creating mismatches against opposing defenses.
