Prediction

Mavericks 137, Warriors 108

Moneyline (ML)

The Mavericks (-358) win this game 78.13% of the time, according to BetMGM‘s implied odds. I fully expect this to be the case Tuesday, as they are 12-5 on the road for the season and coming off a 109-91 victory Saturday over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Chasing long odds on the Warriors (+275) has been a fool’s errand this season. They enter on another eight-game losing streak and with a home record of just 6-13. PASS on the moneyline with neither side offering any worthwhile profit potential. Look to the spread.

New to sports betting? A $10 bet on the Mavs to win returns a profit of just $2.79.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The spread is where we’ll make our money Tuesday by backing the MAVERICKS (-8.5, -106) to win by at least 9 points. Dallas is 20-18-1 against the spread overall, but 11-5 on the road. Golden State (+8.5, -115) is 19-22 ATS overall and 9-10 on home court. Six of the Warriors’ eight straight losses were by margins of 9 or more points. The two head-to-head wins for Dallas this season were decided by 48 and 20 points.

Over/Under (O/U)

Take the OVER 221.5 (-121) after the Mavs dropped 140 points in each of the season’s first two head-to-head meetings. Dallas is 24-15 against the Over/Under this season, and while Golden State is just 17-24 against the projected total, the Mavs will once again be able to carry the point-scoring load.
