Dallas Mavericks at Cleveland Cavaliers odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Dallas Mavericks at Cleveland Cavaliers odds and lines, with NBA expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Dallas Mavericks (15-14) and the Cleveland Cavaliers (19-11) meet Saturday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Tip is set for 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Mavericks vs. Cavaliers odds, and make our expert NBA picks and predictions.

The Mavericks suffered a 105-90 loss at home Wednesday against the Cavaliers, as Dallas hit just 39% (29-for-74) from the field while turning it over 12 times. The 90 points were the lowest since a season-low 87 points in a loss at Orlando back on Nov. 9.

The Cavaliers has won back-to-back games, topping the Mavs, before coming home to beat Indiana 118-112 Friday night in The Land. Cleveland hasn’t won 3 or more games in a row since the Cavs won 4 straight from Nov. 18-23.

Mavericks at Cavaliers picks and predictions

Prediction

Cavaliers 109, Mavericks 101

Moneyline

The CAVALIERS (-170) are right at my personal money line for a singular wager. It’s worth it, though, as Cleveland just showed it can beat the Mavericks (+145) rather handily, taking care of them in Dallas by a healthy margin just this week.

Against the spread

The CAVALIERS -4.5 (-115) are an impressive 13-3-1 ATS in the past 17 games at home, while going 4-1-1 ATS in the past 6 at home against teams with a losing road record.

On the flip side, the Mavericks +4.5 (-105) have managed a 2-7 ATS mark in the past 9 games on the road, while going 1-4-1 ATS in the past 6 when playing on no rest. The Mavs are also 1-7 ATS in the past 8 games on the road against teams with a winning home mark.

Over/Under

UNDER 215.5 (-110) is the lean here.

While the Over has been fire for the Mavericks lately, the Under did cash in the first meeting with the Cavs Wednesday.

The Under is 9-2 in the past 11 games overall for the Cavs, while going 8-1 in the past 9 games at home. The Under is also 25-12 in the past 37 outings when playing on no rest.
