Dallas Cowboys cancel practice after staff emergency

The Dallas Cowboys canceled practice two days before their game with Washington

A short week of practice became shorter Tuesday when the Dallas Cowboys announced they had to cancel practice and Head Coach Mike McCarthy’s availability due to a staff emergency.

Dallas is scheduled to play the Washington Football Team on Thanksgiving.

Per the Dallas Morning News:

The staffer’s identity is not being reported at this time out of respect for the matter’s sensitivity and potential gravity. The club issued a news release Tuesday in which it announced the cancellation, adding that the medical reason is unrelated to COVID-19.
