Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys made their huge new deal official on Wednesday with a press conference at the team’s practice facility.
Prescott, whose new 4-year deal is worth $160M, with $126M guaranteed, looked happy and healthy as he took the stage to talk about his new contract and his health.
The last time we saw Prescott on the field was in Week 5 last season when he suffered a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle against the Giants. That ended his season and made many wonder what it would do for his upcoming free agency.
The QB opened up about the injury on Wednesday and said he drew inspiration from Alex Smith, who made an incredible recovery from a very serious leg injury of his own:

Good for Dak. And good for Alex Smith, too.
