He totaled 16 tackles and two tackles for a loss.
The redshirt freshman played at Meridian High School in Meridian, Mississippi.
Terry entered the NCAA transfer portal on May 5 following the departure of former Kansas head coach Les Miles.
“I want to thank Coach Miles, the coaching staff and the University of Kansas for letting me play here,” Terry said. “With this being said, with talking to my family and thinking about my future, I have decided to enter the transfer portal.”
