The Cleveland Browns are looking to build on their Week 2 success and the key to keeping the good vibes going is a Washington offense that is allowing a pressure rate of 28% on offense, something that should allow Myles Garrett and the Browns defense to feast in the Sunday matchup.
The Cleveland defense and special teams are the best Browns to start in Week 3 on DraftKings. The Washington Football team has allowed a sack on 9.9 percent of their passing plays so far this season, the third-highest mark in the NFL, and that was before losing Pro Bowl guard Brandon Scherff to injury.
After playing well in spurts against the vaunted Ravens offense, Cleveland will face a more inexperienced offense in Washington, that’s still working to develop continuity and an identity outside of Terry McLaurin.
For their part, the Browns have recorded a pressure on 28.6 percent of opposing dropbacks (No. 6 in the NFL), and with the Cleveland offense starting to find an identity with their two head monster at running back, the home team could find an early rhythm that forces The Football Team to turn into a one-dimensional passing offense.
That would allow Myles Garrett, Sheldon Richardson, and Larry Ogunjobi to pressure Dwayne Haskins, causing errant throws or much-needed sacks.
