Daeqwon Plowden scores 16 points in another Summer League win for the Warriors

Between the California Classic and Las Vegas, the Warriors have rattled off six straight wins in the 2024 Summer League.

The Golden State Warriors have been on a roll in the Summer League. After going 3-0 in the California Classic at Chase Center, the Warriors won their first pair of games at the Las Vegas Summer League.

On Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Las Vegas, the Warriors showed no signs of breaking their five-game winning streak. For the sixth straight time in the Summer League, the Warriors cruised to another victory, 96-85.

Daeqwon Plowden continued his Summer League rise with another impressive performance.  Plowden notched a game-high 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers. Plowden added seven rebounds and an assist in Golden State’s win over Cleveland.

Jackson Rowe, Roman Sorkin and two-way guard Pat Spencer all notched 13 points each against the Cavaliers. Mantas Rubstavicius added 12 points off the bench on Wednesday night for the Warriors.

The Warriors will take their perfect 6-0 record into Friday’s contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Las Vegas.
